All Watermiser GRP Cooling towers are fitted with type AZD4 high efficiency drift eliminators, manufactured in PVC. The material has been independently tested, resulting in a carry over of 0.00024% of the circulating water flow. The test rig incorporated a spray distribution system as described earlier.

The efficiency of any eliminator material is only as good as its installation within a cooling tower. Any gaps between blocks can result in major carry over problems. Type AZD eliminators have a unique interlocking arrangement to ensure a seal between individual blocks. (A brochure giving full details of our AZD eliminator material is available on request).
